Welcome to Lifting Spirits Paranormal Society! A truly unique, and profound tour of the spiritual world, in Historic Gettysburg! Introducing the founder's of LSPS, and our lead spiritual Investigator's, Daniel & Carla Hehir. Carla is a proud, yet humble author of four books thus far. The first two are religious poetry, the third is a true life experience. They are titled, "Self Cleansing Religious Poems," "Blessed And Knowing," and "A Woman's Cry for God's Help While Living With A Monster." Her newest book is titled, "The Paranormal Through The Eyes Of An Angel." Which includes many of her spiritual encounters throughout her life! And how she came to acquire her gifts from God. Carla is very spiritually Sensitive, and gifted in many ways, we understand it as a gift of discernment, a ministering of angels, remote viewing, Clairsentient, empathic, and prophetic writing or automatic writing! For 25 years, she has been refining her gifts. One of the ways that you will notice her gifts on the tour, is that she can sense when and where to take a picture, to capture an apparition on camera. It is obvious, that the spirits are without a doubt, more comfortable communicating with her, than they are with most other people. Carla also shares the last name of General George Pickett, being her maiden name . Another interesting coincidence if you will, is that the last four digits of her social, are indeed 1863, the year that the Battle of Gettysburg took place!

  In our experience taking hundreds of people on investigation's, you would be surprised to see how many people have a sensitivity to the spiritual world, in one way or another.

  Daniel and Carla are very strong believing, and faithfull Christian's. Daniel has had many experiences throughout his life, that have made him a confident, compasionate, and humble Christian. Daniel has a strong discerning spirit as well, similar to Carla. Daniel has also captured on camera some of the best photographs that LSPS has. Daniel & Carla together, are very strong spiritually! The way that they work in this field of study, and the results that have been produced because of it, can only be described as a gift from God. Daniel and Carla both, share a great compassion for the human spirits that are left behind in Gettysburg, and the people that are interested in learning the truth about the spiritual world. It is a fascinating, and amazing feat, to communicate with the spirits of the Civil War Soldiers in Gettysburg, and find out who they are. We feel that it is even more amazing, to wake the spirits up out of their residual state, to make them aware of the fact that the war is over, since some of them that we communicate with, tell us that they still see the war going on around them. And that they are not aware of the fact that they have died. We feel that it is necessary to make the spirits aware of their situation, so that they can move, be at peace, and cross over to be with God and their family if they wish to do so.

 

The human spirits are like people, essentially like you and me. In some cases, depending on their state of awareness, they as well have a free will. They are still here for many reasons. One is because they did not know God when they died. Hence the fact that God's Believers and followers, truely are, Absent from the body, and present with the Lord. We know this personally from Carla experiencing out of body,  and near death experiences, in which she has seen Jesus. Another is the fact that some of them do not realize that they have died, and are in what is called by men, a residual loop, in that they still see the war going on around them, and they can be re-living the same event over and over. God specifically refers to human spirits that are here, as being asleep, waiting for the judgement day that is Christ's return. Also, they can be afraid to go towards the light and be judged by God, or they may choose to stay because of unfinished buisiness that they feel must be resolved. When I say that they are people like you and me with a free will, I mean that we can teach them about our heavenly Father, so that Christ will show them light, and we, being that we are living with Christ in us, can give them the oportunity to go towards the light. For the Judgment Day that is Christs return has not yet come to pass. 

 

  I feel that the first scripture that I have listed here, may explain why we have evidence of the spiritual world on camera. And I feel that it is to show people so that they will believe. 

 

These Scriptures can be found in Matthew 13:13-15 "The Purpose of Parables" "Therefore I speak to them in Parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. " And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: 'Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn. So that I should heal them. 

 

  I understand this next scripture to support the fact that we can help the human spirits to cross over. However, this scripture is speaking of living people that are described as dead, while living in sin. Carla was compelled by God to do this work. I felt good about it, and followed. We have been very protected and successfull, So we, as well as other pastors that we have met, feel that it is the work of God.  

 

Ephesians 5:8-14 "Walk in Light" For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, rightousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitfull works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shamefull even to speak of those things which are done  by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead. And Christ will give you light."

 

I understand this next verse to mean that the dead in Christ, that is still here on earth. Will be raised upon Christ's return. And it also confirms that humans spirits are here on earth.

 

1 Corinthians 15:50-58 "Our Final Victory" Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must be put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

We will teach you how to collect, and confirm your potential evidence. The evidence that we recover on our investigations, is very impressive, but helping the lost souls, is just as rewarding as helping the living. And that is the whole idea! For some seeing is believing, and so help me God we will show you physical proof of this spiritual world, so that you might know God in all His Grace, and love, and truth, like we do! God has allowed us to capture this evidence on camera to show you all!
